June 2, 2013 - After spending the day up at Mt Rainier with thick dark clouds and even some rain at times, I finally decided to leave and was pleasantly surprised by the clouds starting to break. I was certain that there was going to be a pretty colorful sunset. I was still about 2 hours way and started exploring on my phone and found a road that took me way up in the hills to get a different perspective on Rainier since it was finally out. I am not sure that I made the right call because the colors really did start popping when I was on my way back down but there wasn't enough time to get back to my spot. At least I found a couple new places to shoot.
