July 8, 2014 - I have always had a fascination with farms. I can spend hours driving old country roads taking in the beautiful scenery that is created as a result of hard work and dedication to a cause much bigger than most even realize. We spend very little time realizing the benefits we receive from the farms that surround us. The planning, focus, sore backs, and calloused hands that provide the nourishment and comfort we take for granted. This is just a small tribute and thanks to the farmers that struggle to make a living providing for us every day.
July 8, 2014 - This was a photo I made at sunset about a week ago from Steptoe Butte. This was the first time I have ever been to this place and I must say, it is quite the place. It is no wonder why so many photographers make there way up there. I wish I would have had a little more time to explore some better comps but this among a few others will have to do.
July 31, 2014 - Today was a good day up at Mt Rainier. I ended up staying well after the sun had set. This was one of the last photos of the night before heading home. I have quite a few more to post from my adventure but i thought that I would start with this one because it almost didn't happen. I was driving back from Reflection Lake when I hit an opening in the valley that caused me to immediately stop. I thought I was too late and my gear was already put away but decided to give it a shot anyway. This was the result. I hope everyone has a great weekend.
